"I wanted a property that I could renovate and sell for a profit. Having visited one2one property at their office in Budapest, I arranged a viewing trip to look at five properties. I decided to buy one in the 6th district of Budapest. Once the sale had gone through, I found that due to unforeseen additional work commitments at home, I was unable to dedicate as much time renovating the property as I'd originally planned. I contacted one2one property and explained my circumstances. The Team were great- they were genuinely interested, even after the ‘sale’ to help me complete the renovation works. They helped source local contractors who completed all the works within the agreed time and budget. The standard of the building work has been very high, particularly in the way in which the joiners have replaced the windows, doors and the interior in a way that stays true to the original design. I found that the trades people in Budapest are hard working and take a real pride in their work. All the works have been completed now.

This is the first time I have bought and renovated a property overseas and it certainly won’t be the last. I will happily buy from one2one property again and would have no hesitation recommending  them to anybody. Their after-sales support was fantastic.

To explain to your customers – I gave you a cheque for the deposit on a property in Aqua residence. For personal reasons, I was unable to proceed with the purchase. I expected the worse- thinking that one2one property would not honour my request, claiming it was “too late”. When we decided to buy a holiday home, we first thought of France, Spain or Portugal. However having seen all the media coverage about Budapest we were curious to find out more. After weeks of researching the internet and phone calls to various property companies, we started to get a feel for things and started to pursue enquiries with 3 Budapest property agents. We decided that we wanted to investigate buying a home in one of the eastern European city, or preferably nearby one of the PGA golf course developments.

After much liaison with property agents, my husband and I both agreed that we preferred to work with one2one property. I was attracted to, yet very apprehensive about buying overseas in a country that I knew nothing about. I am not the kind of person that takes risks or rushes into anything. I spent the last couple of years studying overseas property markets. The majority TV programmes, newspaper articles, and magazines all suggested that Budapest was THE place to buy. Despite all the expert advices, I kept looking for reasons why not to buy, and turning to the ‘familiar countries’ like Spain. I discussed the situation with a colleague who mentioned that whilst on business in Budapest, he’d seen Budapest properties for sale in the window of a shop (one2one property’s Shop). I visited the one2one property in Budapest later that month and talked with the staff. They took time to discuss the benefits of buying in Budapest as opposed to other countries. I was satisfied with what they said, and felt confident that their advices were accurate. The following month I made an inspection visit around the Pest Region. I was greeted at the airport by a staff of one2one property who took me to the hotel. We discussed the itinerary of my visit over lunch and reconvened the following morning. By this time, following a great night in the town I had acclimatised to the relaxed lifestyle. From that point forward, I really enjoyed my visit, experiencing some of the tasty cuisines and travelling inland through some of the quaint countryside villages. It is a beautiful country, the people are so friendly, the weather is glorious, and there are plenty of places to see and things to do. I bought my apartments back in April. Thank you for helping me take this step towards finding me this new, more relaxed lifestyle.
